This will be the last update for this year. We're heading off to Toronto this week and will be back in January. It is going to be great to catch up with all our friends who we haven't seen in ages. Hopefully we'll have lots of stories to tell (and hear) in the new year.
This past week was weird, everything seems to be going in slow motion. People are really gearing up for some time off and its evident. I've been finding it harder and harder to motivate myself to work, and just about anything else, too! On Sunday night we were invited, along with Greg, to have dinner at Amanda's new flat in Camden Town. The dinner was superb and she gave us a wonderful gift, a Breville. That was unexpected. Amanda's flat is wonderful. She's sharing it with a few people and, as a result, their combined rent adds up to quite a bit. Luckily for them, this gets them a nice flat. It has a lot of amenities that you don't really find in the standard London flat, such as a dishwasher and gas stove. But on top of that it's in a nice area, really modern and quite large too.
