This year Anna helped me to begin writing Xmas letters by posing for photographs one rare sunny November day in our bedroom. Anna was too young last year to remember our Christmas tree ornaments and so took great delight in discovering the joys of brightly coloured baubles and sparkling stars. Two months on and I'm still finding baubles behind the sofa and under the bed.
